My Story
As a person with Persian heritage, I discovered at the age of 15, the chinese scripture “ Dao de jing” 道德经 , which is the fundamental text for both philosophical and religious Daoism. Written by Lao Zi 老子. Reading this work not only opened my eyes to how my universe is united with the universe in me but also gave me a clear direction where I am interested to explore physically and spritually.
As I left Persia experiencing different cultures opened new ways of seeing myself.
lived and became a citizen of Germany as well. The truth is that these external transformations created a profound internal transformation in my path.
transformation is a blessing and we can experience pure joy when we do not let our emotions control us.
I started my journey at a fairly early age.
From engaging my body in different sports and then dance and yoga along with chinese internal martial arts. Meanwhile along this path, the other parts of my body drew my attention to the existence of the body and THE MIND.
MIND
BODY
AND
THE SPIRIT
On the path in which we face many doubts, obstacles, hesitations, illusions, joy, pleasure, love, loss, pain and suffering. All of which are part of our somas JOURNEY.
More than Soma
In Chinese Medicine there are Three Treasures which I find essential to look at in the work with human psychology.
Jing – foundation of our physical life
Qi – essential vital life force
Shen – spiritual energy that gives life meaning,
The Three Treasures demonstrates how the concept of a unified body-mind-spirit is woven into the very fabric of the Chinese medical system. It also highlights the emphasis that Chinese medicine places on healing the emotional and spiritual aspects of disease, not just the physical symptoms.
The Chinese character for Shen depicts an empty vessel. Only when we are empty of desires, worries, and negative emotions can we allow the light of the infinite to shine through and be aligned with the movement and flow of the universe.
Not only has there been an everlasting relation between MIND and BODY but also the connection to our Spirit. Called spirit , soul, 魂 hun or 灵, líng ,in chinese .
